Plötzlich sieht Leo einen kleinen, roten Vogel. Der Vogel sitzt auf einem Ast und singt ein schönes Lied. Der Vogel fliegt schnell weg. Leo will wissen, wohin der Vogel fliegt, also folgt er ihm. Er läuft einen schmalen Pfad entlang.
Bald kommt er an einen kleinen Bach. Das Wasser ist kalt und klar. Leo zieht seine Schuhe aus und geht vorsichtig über die Steine auf die andere Seite. Auf der anderen Seite des Baches ist ein hoher Hügel. Leo klettert nach oben. Er atmet tief ein und aus.
Obergewinnt er einen tollen Blick über den ganzen Wald. Plötzlich hört er ein Rascheln im Gebüsch. Er schaut nach unten und sieht eine alte Holz Kiste unter einer großen Tanne. Die Kiste ist ein bisschen staubig.
Leo geht zu der Kiste und öffnet den Deckel. Was ist drin? In der Kiste liegt ein altes Buch mit einem goldenen Einband und eine bunte Karte. Leo lächelt glücklich. Er setzt sich auf die Wiese, isst seinen Apfel und liest in dem geheimnisvollen Buch. Es ist wirklich ein tolles Abenteuer!

The Great Forest Adventure
Leo has a blue backpack. He packs a bottle of water and an apple. Then he goes into the big forest. The sun is shining warmly through the trees. It is a wonderful day for an adventure.
Suddenly, Leo sees a small, red bird. The bird sits on a branch and sings a beautiful song. The bird flies away quickly. Leo wants to know where the bird is flying, so he follows it. He walks along a narrow path.
Soon he comes to a small stream. The water is cold and clear. Leo takes off his shoes and walks carefully over the stones to the other side. On the other side of the stream is a high hill. Leo climbs up. He breathes in and out deeply.
At the top, he gets a great view over the whole forest. Suddenly he hears a rustling in the bushes. He looks down and sees an old wooden box under a large fir tree. The box is a bit dusty.
Leo goes to the box and opens the lid. What is inside? In the box lies an old book with a golden cover and a colorful map. Leo smiles happily. He sits down on the meadow, eats his apple, and reads in the mysterious book. It really is a great adventure!
