Das Geisterschiff – Es ist ein kalter Abend an der Nordsee. Tom steht am Strand und schaut auf das dunkle Wasser. Der Wind weht, und dichter Nebel liegt über dem Meer. Niemand ist draußen.
Plötzlich sieht Tom etwas im Nebel. Ein altes Segelschiff kommt langsam näher. Die Segel sind kaputt, und das Holz ist schwarz. Auf dem ganzen Schiff brennt kein Licht. Keine Menschen sind zu sehen.
Tom staunt. Ein solches Schiff gibt es heute nicht mehr. Es sieht aus wie ein Geisterschiff.
Das Schiff bleibt stehen. Tom hört ein leises Geräusch und Stimmen im Wind. Er bekommt eine Gänsehaut und möchte weggehen, aber seine Beine wollen nicht.
Dann passiert etwas Seltsames. Der Nebel wird sehr dicht, und das Schiff ist plötzlich weg. Es ist einfach verschwunden.
Tom steht noch lange allein im Dunkeln. Er weiß nicht: War das ein Traum? Oder war das Schiff wirklich da? Er wird diesen Abend nie vergessen.

English Translation
The Ghost Ship
It is a cold evening on the North Sea. Tom stands on the beach and looks out at the dark water. The wind is blowing, and thick fog lies over the sea. No one is outside.
Suddenly, Tom sees something in the fog. An old sailing ship is coming slowly closer. The sails are broken, and the wood is black. Not a single light is burning on the entire ship. No people are to be seen.
Tom is amazed. A ship like this doesn’t exist anymore today. It looks like a ghost ship.
The ship stops. Tom hears a soft sound and voices in the wind. He gets goosebumps and wants to walk away, but his legs won’t move.
Then something strange happens. The fog becomes very thick, and the ship is suddenly gone. It has simply disappeared.
Tom stands alone in the dark for a long time. He doesn’t know: Was that a dream? Or was the ship really there? He will never forget this evening.
