Vorsichtig geht Mia hinein.

English Translation
The Secret of the Old Lighthouse
It is a stormy Friday evening on the rocky coast. Mia is sitting by the warm stove in her small wooden house, drinking hot tea. Right outside her window stands the old lighthouse, which has been dark and abandoned for many years. No one lives there, and the heavy wooden door is usually always locked tightly.
Suddenly, through the raindrops on the window, Mia sees a bright, blue beam of light. It comes directly from the top of the old lighthouse and slowly moves across the dark sea.
Mia doesn’t believe her eyes. The lighthouse has no electricity, and the last lighthouse keeper moved away over twenty years ago. Who could be up there?
She puts on her thick jacket, takes a flashlight, and runs out into the cold rain. The wind is whistling fiercely, and the waves are crashing loudly against the rocks. When she stands in front of the lighthouse, she sees that the old door is open a crack. Someone has picked the padlock.
Mia steps inside cautiously. The air smells of old dust and wet wood. She begins to climb the narrow spiral staircase upward. Step by step she goes higher while her heart beats fast.
Arriving at the top, the door to the glass room is open. Mia shines her flashlight inside. On the floor lies an old, opened metal chest full of old letters and golden keys. There is no trace of any person.
Suddenly, she hears a quiet creaking behind her.
